This link is to a great site which allows users to copy or add crossword puzzles for use in the classroom. These can be used online or printed out for classroom use as an activator or summarizer. I have found that students like puzzles and will read just to find the answers to the puzzle. The puzzles are broken down by subject.

I am providing a two links I think are great for an advertising project I give in my public speaking class. Animoto makes high end commercials and bighugelabs helps students make billboards:

I know that this has already been linked on the 23 Things website; however, I found it so inspiring, I just have to mention it again. I was browsing on http://booklovers.pbworks.com/Princeton%20Public%20Library and just loved the concept. The wiki was categorized by different genres of books. People were able to comment on and rate books that they had read. I just thought this would be such a cool idea to apply with students regarding books that they read or reported on in school.

One of the most useful tools I have used to far is are the RSS and Newsreaders. It can be quite useful in keeping my students up to day in marketing, fashion and the sports fields.
