I am going through this training with a cohort from my school district.  I am learning so much more as a result.  One of my favorites is the voki talking avatar.  One of our members found it while exploring other teachers blogs and shared with the group.  Will it help raise test scores?- maybe not- but it really helps to pimp out our blogs- I mean engage students. :) Check out voki.com- it is really fun.

Week #5 This is my online image generated friend. To create it I used the Comic Strip Generator. Uses for the classroom may be to enhance learning material for a group of students who may respond more readily to a cartoon rather than text or to allow students to express themselves in this format rather than more traditional methods.
